Live Barbados Gooseberry Plant
Ships in 100% Biodegradable Coconut Fiber Planter

The Barbados Gooseberry is a super rare and unique leafy cactus vine also known as Blade-apple Cactus, Lemonvine, or Rose Cactus.

The leaves and fruit are both edible, containing high quantities of protein (20-30%!), iron and other nutrients. Barbados Gooseberry fruit ranges from translucent white to pink, orange, or red and is about the same size and shape as a cherry. Flowers are white and creamy with a strong sweet fragrance.  The fruit has a flavor profile similar to Acerola Cherry but is more sweet and mellow.

Weather Holds
Orders placed in colder climate zones during the winter months will automatically be placed on hold until Spring or when temperatures in your area are above freezing on the expected date of delivery.

Heat Packs
Heat packs can be purchased separately to avoid cold weather delays.
If you live in a colder climate and do not want to wait until Spring to get your new plants, we recommend adding a heat pack to your order. Your plants will ship as scheduled and arrive safely, with no risk of freezing on the way to your front door.
