Rollinia deliciosa is fast-growing, flood tolerant, sun-loving tropical/subtropical fruit tree in the custard-apple family (Annonaceaealongside cherimoya and soursop.

Rollinia is native to South America. It is cultivated for its delicious and exotic edible fruit that tastes like lemon meringue pie! The soft spined, dodgeball-sized fruit has soft, sweet pulp and many seeds inside. In Brazil, the fruit’s native land, the Rollinia is often fermented into wine.

Rollinia is a fast-growing, medium sized tree grows that smooth, deep green leaves with deep yellow veins, a signature to the tree. Their fascinating flowers are triangular, butter-colored and hairy. Traditionally, Rollinia’s sturdy, yellow wood works well for carving canoes, masts, and main bows for the Berimbau, the Afro-Brazilian instrument named from the tree. The fruit is an excellent source of vitamin C.

The fruit does not have a long shelf life, so it is not easily grown commercially.  The best way to enjoy the rare and delicious Rollinia fruit is to grow your own!

Aside from an understandable mixup over my address, I have no complaints, no fault on the part of Sow Exotic.

    Healthy plant

Plant arrived healthy, despite the fact that due to confusion over my address with the postal service it sat in my local post office for several days, I was impressed. It had only dropped two or three leaves and the soil still had moisture. Great price, nice looking plant and I'm very excited to get my second annona fruit in the soil! ꮹꮩ (thank you)

Can't wait for this to grow

The Rollinia came in eco-friendly packaging. I love the pot because I just kept it in shade for 3 days and then put the entire bio-degradable pot into a larger pot for it to stretch its roots in the future.

    Awesome Little Tree

Had to leave a review. I received a healthy seedling with more leaves than I was expecting. It was well packed and I dont believe jostled around or mistreated before shipping. Overall a great purchase! Will order again in the future!
