The Tropic Beauty Peach is a highly productive, low-chill variety bred for warm climates (Zones 8-10). With a chill requirement of 150-250 hours, this vigorous tree thrives in Southern gardens and produces medium-sized peaches with melting, yellow flesh and a rich, classic peach flavor. The fruit ripens in late May to early June, extending the peach season into summer.     Nice size tree

    Looking good and received in good shape. Very good size. Minimal shock so far. New growth started a few days ago.

    Absolutely perfect and healthy

    These trees came to me in the best and healthiest condition. One even had a small green peach on it! I'm so thrilled.

    Delicious fruit in tropical mountains

    I bought this variety because I knew it had been tested in the mountains of Puerto Rico. I stripped all the leaves off in January and it burst into lovely pink bloom. Today, March 4, I ate the first delicious little peach. Now that I know i thrives, will order more. I live at 3000 feet altitude in western Puerto Rico. winter nights get to low 50s with an occasional 49 degree pre-dawn. Clay soil with a lot of added compost.

    Highly Recommend

    When the tree came it looked healthy but had wilted leaves and and needed water. So I put it in a pot with no holes and filled it up with water keeping the burlap cover on the roots. After a few days of keeping it like that it started to freshen up. Then I took off the burlap and put it in a large pot with Miracle Grow Performance Organics https://www.lowes.com/pd/Miracle-Gro-Performance-Organics-All-Purpose-Container-Mix-25-Quart-Organic-Potting-Soil-Mix/1000702612 After that it took about 5 weeks to start growing new branches and leaves. Currently it has been 6 weeks and looks awesome with lush green leaves and branches.
