The succulent Cuban Oregano grows velvety, thick leaves with oregano-meets-thyme flavors. Easy to spot in a garden, your nose can follow the strong menthol aroma and add a snip to any herbal dish (where a little goes a long way). In balancing flavors, Cuban Oregano can be used to neutralize capsaicin in hot peppers, calming down any too-spicy notes.

Not quite a mint and not quite an oregano, this native African plant lives in a category all of its own with drought tolerant tendencies and low maintenance needs. Did I mention that it smells terrific and looks like no oregano you’ve ever met?
