The UF Best Peach lives up to its name with firm, sweet, and juicy fruit that holds up well after harvest. Bred for low-chill regions (Zones 8-10), this variety requires around 150-250 chill hours, making it a great choice for Southern growers. The peaches are medium to large, yellow-fleshed, and have a classic peachy aroma with rich sweetness. UF Best ripens in mid to late May, slightly later than UF Sun, providing an extended fresh peach season. Its strong disease resistance and vigorous growth make it a top performer in warm climates.
