Red Leaf Cranberry Hibiscus, also known as False Roselle or African Rosemallow, is a tall upright growing perennial evergreen herb native to tropical East Africa. It produces brilliantly colored edible leaves that have a crisp, light and tart flavor.  The deep purple leaves are loaded with Vitamin C and antioxidants. Leaves are generally considered and prepared as a vegatable, making them a nutritious and vibrant addition to salads or stir fries. 

This plant makes an impressive hedge in any garden, growing tall, wide, and full of beautiful vibrant ornamental branches and deep red hibiscus flowers!
