How to Grow Turmeric Plants
Plant Type: Rhizomatous Perennial Herb
Harvest Season: Late Summer, Fall, Early Winter or after 8-10 months of planting
Mature Size: Up to about 3 ft tall
Soil & Moisture: Loose, nutrient-rich, well-draining soil. Water in the spring and summer. Do not water when dormant.
Exposure: Full Sun, Part Shade, Light Shade. Turmeric does well in morning sun with afternoon shade.

Climate Zones: USDA plant hardiness Zones 9-11. Turmeric can be grown as an annual Zones 4-11.
Patio Planting Zones: 4+
