Mango 'Nam Doc Mai' (Mangifera indica)
The Nam Doc (Dok) Mai Mango tree is a premium cultivar introduced to Florida from Thailand in 1973. It is hands down the most sought after of the Thai mango varieties, and for good reason. The fruit is firm, sweet, aromatic and completely fiberless. Nam Doc Mai Mango fruit ripens from June to July. The Nam Doc Mai Mango is well-suited for small yards and containers. Nam Doc Mai Mango is a semi-dwarf variety, reaching a mature height and canopy width of 10-15 feet. It's cold hardy to around 30 degrees.
