The Mushroom Herb is a unique and attractive protein-rich perennial herb that tastes like ~ you guessed it ~ Mushrooms!  Mushroom Herb is a leafy green, low-lying shrub native to Papua New Guinea.  It's a low-maintenance plant and does great in a container.   Leaves are thick and crisp, like spinach. They can be harvested all year long, but this plant should be over-wintered indoors in colder climates. The mild mushroom flavor intensifies when cooked and is a great addition to soups and stir-fries!
