Loroco is a rare beautiful vine with edible flowers native to Central and South America.

This fast growing vine grows edible flower clusters beloved for their pungent, olivey, nutty, cheesy “green” flavor. The flavor is really almost inexplicable, so you'll have to try it for yourself!

Loroco’s unopened buds make for the signature ingredient in preparing pupusas, a Central-American staple made of corn. Related to the dogbane family of plants, Loroco is a staple herb in El Salvador, growing from a woody-stemmed vine that grows well in sun and shade alike.
