Longjack aka Tongjat Ali or Malaysian Ginseng is an ULTRA RARE herb native to Southeast Asia, where it grows in the wild and is cultivated for it's potent performance enhancing medicinal root. 

Longjack is a slender evergreen shrub that makes up the under story of lowland forests in Indonesia and the islands of Borneo and Sumatra, where high humidity and acidic soil helps the plant flourish in low light and shade. Eurycoma longifolia is a small slender shrub but can rise to a towering 33 feet tall if allowed to, with stems and leaves spiraling away from the tree’s branchlike trunk.

Purportedly, all parts of the plant may be used a a supplement, but the bark and roots are harvested most frequently. The plant has a bitter herbal flavor, which is an acquired taste for people who use it regularly.

Longjack is not a self-pollinating plant, which isn't an issue at all if you're just growing the plant to harvest its root for medicinal benefit. However, if you're trying to grow Longjack to seed, you'll want to grow multiple plants for the best luck at pollination.
