Anamu, also commonly known as Guinea Henweed or Garlic Weed is a perennial herb native to the tropical and subtropical western world, primarily Puerto Rico, Florida, and throughout Central and South America. It is a member of the Pigeon Berry (Verbena) family of plants. 

Anamu is a deep rooted shrub that sports beautiful, deep green alternate leaves that can reach up to 4 ft tall and wide. The roots and leaves have a strong garlic taste and aroma. It produces long flower spikes in winter but leaves can be harvested year round. Anamu is easy to grow in a variety of locals and even thrives in disturbed areas and coastal flood plain areas. Our Anamu is grown from seed or cutting and capable of harvest  within 1-2 growing seasons.
